School Counseling Staff:
Mrs. Juliann Lionetti, M.A., NCC - jlionetti@fcrsd.org
Mrs. Lionetti has been a certified school counselor since May 1995. She attended Rider University and earned her Master of Arts in Counseling . She earned her bachelors degree in psychology in 1993 at The College of NJ. Mrs Lionetti has been employed with Forest City Regional High School since March 2007. Her work in the mental health field for 14 years includes : childrens' case manager, a mental health therapist in community based agencies and in an children's' psychiatric hospital.
Her training background and education includes childhood trauma, suicide prevention and grief/loss.
She serves as the district AP coordinator, suicide prevention coordinator , and is part of the Lackawanna County Prevention Alliance and serves as the coordinator of the high school SAP team.
Mrs. Lionetti is a member of the local school counselors of NEPA, the state organization (PSCA) , and the national
association for school counselors (ASCA).
Mrs. Kelsey Bryer, M.S., NCC - kbryer@fcrsd.org
Mrs. Kelsey Bryer has been part of the Forester family since August 2014. She taught 4th grade ELA for 6 years before transitioning to a new role in the district as school counselor. Last year, she served as a high school counselor, with kids on her caseload from 7th-12th grade; This year, she'll transition to a new role as "Middle School Counselor" and serve students from 5th-8th grade.
A lifelong resident of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Mrs. Bryer graduated from Valley View High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Loyola University Maryland and a Master of Science Degree in School Counseling from the University of Scranton. She received her National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential in 2018.
Mrs. Bryer is a member of the FCRES & FCRHS SAP and Request for Assistance teams, the HS PBIS committee, the social justice committee, and is part of the district's support team. She believes in supporting the WHOLE child within ONE student-driven, data-informed system to ensure the most appropriate, effective, and efficient supports and interventions are implemented when needed.
