Athletic Program Philosophy

The Forest City Regional School District believes that athletics can play an important part in the educational process.  Obviously, they help to reinforce and expand the concepts that are a part of our physical education program, like coordination, cardiovascular fitness, sports rules, and sportsmanship. However, they also help to teach the leadership, communication, and teamwork skills that are a part of the District's entire curriculum.
