Supervisor of Special Education

 Angela E. Geyer is Forest City Regional’s Supervisor of Special Education. Dr. Geyer resides in the beautiful endless mountain region with her husband and son. Dr. Geyer earned a degree in Special Education from East Stroudsburg University and she earned a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University. She has been serving in the role of Supervisor of Special Education for Forest City Regional since October 2017. 

 Prior to working at Forest City Regional, Dr. Geyer worked as supervisor of special education for 5 years and she taught special education for 10 years. She also has experience teaching courses at the collegiate level. Dr. Geyer values learning and she looks forward to growing with the Forest City community. 

 Dr. Geyer strives to establish strong partnerships with all students, parents and community members. Dr. Geyer believes that all children, regardless of disability, are unique and posses the skills and talents that are needed to build strong communities. She values the hard work of all teachers and parents who guide children to grow in their skills and talents. 

 Dr. Geyer is overseeing many exciting new changes in the Special Education Department. Special education teachers are using new curriculum and resources to better serve students. Preparing students for successful post-secondary living is strength of the department. Dr. Geyer welcomes the Forest City Regional community to connect with the Special Education Department as we embark the 2018-2019 school year.
